Philip Paschke lives in Edmonton, Alberta. His musical training began at age six with piano lessons, which he continued for fifteen years. During this time he studied under Pat Stretch, Diana Wiens and Ayako Tsuruta. He was a frequent performer in the Canadian Composers Festival, and has also participated in Masterclasses with Violet Archer and Stephane Lemelin.  Philip Paschke

Philip has written music for chamber ensembles, solo piano, and choir. His pieces have been performed by members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Taylor University College Choristers and Cosmopolitan Music Society. Philip also wrote dramatic music for the theatrical productions Frost Falls, Pasture Bedtime and The Right Angle for West Meadows Productions. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Theory and Composition from the University of Alberta. He has studied composition with Laurie Radford, Howard Bashaw and Paul Steenhuisen, and film scoring with Hummie Mann.
